Meet our first Retailer of the Week from our Be Inspired holiday decorating contest.
We at Melrose know that we have many creative retailer friends. And all of their talent was on full display during our Be Inspired holiday decorating contest. As a matter of fact, during this contest, where we asked our retailers to show how Melrose had inspired them, we had so many wonderful entrants that we had to pick four winners! Each of the winners will be honored on MELspeak over the coming weeks as a Retailer of the Week. Today we are pleased to bring you our first Retailer of the Week, The Village Shoppes.
Opened in 1975 in New Carlisle, Ind., by the Sutton family, The Village Shoppes was originally called the Village Florist. Over the years, various store expansions have given The Village Shoppes its current display area of 27,000 square feet, which they use to host numerous lines of home furnishings, collectibles, fashion accessories and kitchen items. The Sutton family continues to proudly serve the area with the largest gift, collectible and home-furnishing store of its kind.
“We have been inspired by the stunning holiday decor offered by Melrose International. This decor exudes a beautifully imaginative quality that makes creating Christmas vignettes absolutely exhilarating. Not only is their holiday decor inspiring, their holiday collection covers a broad spectrum and is sure to satisfy our customers’ decorating styles. Melrose’s array of ornaments, including whimsical ice cream cones, rustic birdhouses, old-fashioned ice skates, golden Santas, sequin-adorned snowflakes and translucent globes, show that they truly have something for everyone. This makes them inspiring and a dream-come-true for The Village Shoppes. Our ultimate goal is to please every customer, and Melrose International makes that so easy for us. We hope you enjoy seeing The Village Shoppes displays as much as we enjoyed creating them!”
